Golden Triangle and Pushkar Fair Tour

Destinations Covered: Delhi - Agra - Jaipur - Pushkar - Ajmer

Day 01 / Arrive Delhi

After arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 02 / DelhiDelhi

After breakfast, we will take you on a sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. Tour of Old Delhi, include a visit to the Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India, Raj Ghat - the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi and other important landmarks like Red Fort and Old Fort. In New Delhi we take you on a visit to the Qutab Minar and Humayun's Tomb. Some other places that you we take you include the Rajpath, India Gate, Parliament House and the President's Residence and the Diplomatic Enclave. Night stay in the hotel.

Day 03 / Delhi - Agra

In the early morning transfer to railway station to board the Superfast air-conditioned train to Agra. Breakfast onboard train. The train takes leaves six in the morning and reach Agra two hours later. After arrival, check in at the hotel. Later you visit one of the most beautiful monuments in the world-Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal is located on the bank of the Yamuna. The Mughal emperor Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal in memory of his wife. Afterwards, you proceed to visit the Agra Fort. The fort was started by the Mughal emperor Akbar in 1566. Later his son Jehangir and grandson Shah Jahan added new palaces and mansions in the fort. The fort houses beautiful palaces and mansions that you can visit on your tour of Agra. Night stay in the hotel.

Day 04 / Agra - Jaipur

In the morning drive to Jaipur, en-route, stop at Fatehpur Sikri, to visit the capital city of the Mughal emperor Akbar. The city has some wonderful palatial buildings, and a mosque. Afterwards, head to Jaipur. After arrival in Jaipur, check in to the hotel. Evening is at leisure. Night stay in the hotel.

Day 05 / Jaipur

Tour Amber Fort in the morning, which is located a few kilometers away from the Pink City. You take an elephant ride to reach to the fort. The fort houses important palaces and mansions inside. It offers a useful insight into the lifestyle of people and Rajput royalty. Later, proceed for the sightseeing tour of the city in the afternoon. Some of the tourist places in the city you visit include the City Palace, Hawa Mahal 'Palace of the Winds', and Jantar Mantar Observatory. Shopping is an exciting activity in Jaipur. To shop take a stroll down the colorful bazaars of Jaipur. Night stay in the hotel.

Day 06 / Jaipur - Pushkar

After breakfast drive to Pushkar, the venue of the colorful Pushkar Fair. The fair is one of the largest cattle fairs in India. After arrival in Pushkar check in into the luxury tented accommodation. Relax in the afternoon or take stroll around to get a feel of the place. Overnight stay in the tented accommodation.

Day 07 / Pushkar

Pushkar It is the day to enjoy the festivities at the colorful Pushkar Fair. The fair attracts large number of people from across Rajasthan, who come to Pushkar to trade in animals. This is the best time to visit Pushkar. The fair witnesses large scale buying and selling of camels, horses and other animals. You enjoy folk dances, camel trading, races and other exciting activities. The fair offers a wonderful opportunity to get an insight into the cultural side of Rajasthan. Overnight stay in Pushkar.

Day 08 / Pushkar - Ajmer - Delhi

In the morning, proceed to visit the famous Brahma Temple, the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma. Later, drive to Ajmer, which is about 15 km away. In Ajmer you visit the Dargah Sharif and Adhai din ka Jhonpra. Humayun, the Mughal emperor constructed the shrine (Dargah Sharif) and the gates were added by the Nizam of Hyderabad. Later, Shah Jahan constructed a mosque of white marble, which has 11 arches and a Persian inscription running the full length of the building. In the Afternoon, transfer to railway station to board the a-c train to Delhi. The train departs at 1550 Hrs from Ajmer and arrives in Delhi at 2230 Hrs. After arrival, transfer to hotel. Night stay in the hotel.

Day 09 / Departure

Transfer to airport to board the onward flight.
